The sequence of the response by Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tuluka to the remarks of the Minister of State, Justice and Minister of Justice, Constant Mutamba, which turned into a confrontation, at the launch ceremony of the national campaign to raise awareness among Congolese youth about the fight against corruption and the promotion of patriotism.
In recent days, video footage of this surreal scene has become the sweet spot for social media users in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
We hear in the first part, Constant Mutamba affirm to feel «the smell of diversion» in the room and call for the arrest of «thieves», not without claiming that he had been retained as an assistant at the end of his university studies and was appointed Minister of State in the government without having corrupted anyone.
In the second part, we see Judith Suminwa, raised up, in turn, her academic career free of corruption, before denying that there could be a smell of diversion in the hall of the Cultural and Artistic Centre for Central African Countries, who hosted this ceremony.
In reaction, the office of the Minister of State in charge of Justice denounces «a false media campaign based on a fraudulent montage».

A skirmish between the Prime Minister and her Minister of Justice? The image symbolizes a serious lightness at the top of government. Fortunately, this would not be true, at least according to a press release published on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
«Contrary to what the sequence from this montage, orchestrated by enemies of the unity of government action mainly the Rwandan digital army suggests, the speeches of the Head of Government and the members of the Government present had a much more pedagogical orientation, adapted to the youth, main recipient of this message,” says the Ministry of Justice and Minister of Justice.
It warns that an injunction against the authors and broadcasters of this fraudulent media content will be addressed to the Attorney General before the Court of Cassation.
